Feb 3rd- Gadgets and Gobstoppers

Viva Dallas Burlesque has joined forces with Marquis of Vaudeville to present Gadgets & Gobstoppers: The Twisted World of Wonka.  Join us as we transform the Lakewood Theater into an eyecandy feast of lick-able wallpaper, chocolate fountains, and candy confections.  Appaloosa Red hosts our burlesque bon-bons: Ammunition (Chicago), Miss Malicious, Pixie O Kneel, Courtney Crave, aerial acrobatics by Fly Girls,  Femme Vivre LaRouge, Jai L’ Bait & more.  The evening’s finale includes the magical music offerings of Amanda Terese, Sarasvati Bodhisattva, and the one and only Marquis of Vaudeville.

You will certainly want to buy tickets in advance and arrive early for this one!

Dec 2- Festivus Follies

Jingle my Bells! We have quite an amazing line-up in store!  Perle Noire (2009 Queen of Burlesque), Trixie Minx, and Alley Oops- all ladies of New Orleans burlesque, will be joining Goldie Candela, Pearl Lux, and Nikko Rocksalot of Texas for Festivus Follies- a holiday themed burlesque benefit show benefiting Home for the Holidays, an organization that assists persons living with AIDS.

Doors open at 8pm, with shopping from local vendors who specialize in handmade, retro, or vintage items, as well as photos with Santa, and lots more surprises.  Home for the Holidays will also be holding several raffles, including a 50/50 where you could walk away with cold, hard cash!  The show begins at 9pm.

The return of one of our most popular themes!  Imagine a famous artistic human circus show, then add boobies- that’s our Cirque du Burlesque! Featuring Midnite Martini of Denver on aerial lyra and silks, the acrobatics of Ray Gunn of Chicago, plus local favorites: Divertida Devotchka and the Juggling Diddier, Miss Rafeala on aerials and hoop, Winged performance by Femme Vivre LaRouge, contortionist Lexa Lusty and the magic of Miss Lexi des Peu Chapeaux.  You’ll wanna buy tickets in advance for this one!

August 5- Viva Presents After Dark Revue

Join us August 5th for Viva Dallas Burlesque featuring the After Dark Revue! These gals are traveling all the way from Corpus Christi to shimmy and shake their way into your hearts. The troupe is currently celebrating their 5-year anniversary and was nominated for 2011 Texas Burlesque Troupe of the Year. You can expect all your favorite elements of classic burlesque like feather fans, boas and pasties, not to mention bellydance and plenty of other surprises! July: Star Spangled Spectacular!

Celebrate the Fourth of July with Viva Dallas Burlesque & its Star Spangled Spectacular!  A USO style tribute to our troops, with singing, comedians, and of course- the hottest in burlesque entertainment from 2011 Texas Troupe of the Year- The Jigglewatts, with Special Guests Honey Cocoa Bordeauxx & Levi des Peu Chapeaux.  The fabulous Club Wood will play live jazz from 8pm-9pm.
